# DoctorMi (Extended LLM Context) Canonical site: https://doctormiweb.github.io/ Last updated: 2026-08-03 This file provides additional context for language models. DoctorMi brings doctors and patients closer between visits through a private channel for brief, non-urgent questions. The technology already makes this relationship possible, but it is not yet part of the day-to-day experience of many practices. Doctors choose whom to invite, what questions they can handle, and when they respond. Primary audience: doctors, medical centers, clinics, patients, and health managers. Languages: - Català: `/ca/` - Español: `/es/` (provisional) - English: `/en/` (provisional) ## Product features - Ordered conversations: Each question, answer, and relevant image stays together. - Relevant patient context: Current treatments, allergies, age, and background help the doctor understand the question. - Clear subscription conditions: The doctor defines what the service includes and the patient sees the conditions before starting. - Private access: Only the doctor and invited patients can access their conversations. ## Transparent revenue model Doctors do not pay to use DoctorMi. The patient pays the subscription, and the doctor receives 60% of the amount paid by the patient. A significant part of the remaining 40% covers App Store or Google Play commissions. DoctorMi uses its share to operate, secure, support, and improve the service rather than maximize margins. ## Responsible professional use Doctors must not use DoctorMi to move patients they already treat through an insurer, hospital, clinic, or other institution into a private paid subscription. This avoids conflicts of interest, potentially lucrative patient diversion, and possible contractual breaches. DoctorMi is primarily intended for people the doctor could not otherwise reach or for private-practice patients when its use is compatible with the doctor's professional and contractual obligations. ## Key website pages - Catalan Home: `/ca/` - For doctors: `/ca/per-a-metges/` - For patients: `/ca/per-a-pacients/` - How it works: `/ca/com-funciona/` - Security: `/ca/seguretat/` - Evidence: `/ca/evidencia/` - Plans: `/ca/plans/` - Contact: `/ca/contacte/` ## Emergency notice DoctorMi is strictly for non-urgent communication. It does not replace emergency clinical services. In case of emergency, users should call 112 or visit the nearest hospital. ## Evidence approach DoctorMi cites clinical research highlighting that structured asynchronous communication between doctor and patient improves follow-up, patient satisfaction, and doctor work-life balance, while minimizing medico-legal risks associated with unofficial channels (like WhatsApp).
